Ship carrying round about 6000 cattles was hit by strong winds and heavy seas caused by Typhoon Maysak. Only 1 of the 43 crew members was rescued by the coastguards. Again, this shows the risks of life animal export trading.
The distress call was send from the west of Amami Oshima island located in southwestern Japan.
